Die Cut Labels and Decals
Thanks to its integrated printing and contour cutting, the Pro 4 XR-640 makes it fast and easy to print and contour cut labels and decals of virtually any shape. For cutting laminated graphics, Roland's Quadralign four-point optical registration system automatically realigns the cutting path and compensates for media skew and distortion.
Banners
For blazing fast production of banners, Pro 4 XR-640 printer/cutters set the standard. Roland Eco-Sol MAX 2 eco-solvent inks combine with variable droplet technology to deliver more detail in the highlights and smoother blends and transitions overall. The addition of Light Cyan, Light Magenta and Light Black enhances blues and reds, ensures flawless flesh tones and gray gradients and improves image quality across lighter colors.
Signs
Specially formulated to enhance Pro 4 XR-640 large-format color printer performance, Eco-Sol MAX 2 eco-solvent ink delivers high color density and a wider gamut for exceptional images and text that are durable up to three years outdoors without lamination. The new, higher density white ink provides greater opacity for window signs and decals.
Vehicle Wraps
With its integrated printing and contour-cutting ability, the XR-640 is perfect for full or partial wraps. The XR's integrated tri-heater system dries prints quickly even in high-speed modes for immediate finishing, installation or collection by the take-up system.
Posters and Backlit Displays
For increased versatility, Eco-Sol MAX 2 performs on a wide range of both coated and uncoated media, including papers for posters and film for eye-popping backlit displays.
Fine Art and Photos
With its Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks and variable droplet technology that allows the RIP to choose from seven different droplet sizes, the XR-640 is capable of delivering fine art and photographic reproductions with exquisite detail and stunning color. Light Black adds better reproduction of gray color gradients and more natural skin tones.
